Spray Equipment Clean-Out

Many new herbicides are very active at low rates. Residues left in mixing equipment, spray tanks, hoses, spray booms and nozzles can cause crop effects if they are not properly cleaned.

As soon as possible after spraying Shark EW and before using the sprayer equipment for any other applications, the sprayer equipment must be thoroughly cleaned using the following procedure.

In addition, users must take steps to ensure proper equipment clean-out for any other products mixed with Shark EW as required by the other product labels directions. More complete cleaning can be achieved if the spray system is cleaned immediately following the applications.
